Simple economics. The vehicles we collect are worth money to us as parts, steel, and aluminium, so the cost of the truck run comes out of our margin — not your payout. Charging sellers for removal would just be double-dipping. The number we agree on the phone is the number you're handed, and the tow is our shout every single time.

Do you charge anything at all for removal?
No. Not for the tow, not for distance, not for difficult access. Whether the car is parked on Dee Street or down a farm track past Wyndham, removal is completely free and you still get paid.
How far outside Invercargill will you travel?
The whole province. Bluff, Winton, Gore, Riverton, Otautau, Edendale, Lumsden — if it's in Southland, it's on our run sheet. For far-flung properties we might bundle your pickup with others in the area, but it never costs you anything.
The car has no warrant and the rego has lapsed. Problem?
Not even slightly. Unwarranted and deregistered vehicles are most of what we collect. We lodge everything needed with Waka Kotahi after pickup, so nothing bounces back to you later.
What do I need to have ready when you arrive?
Photo ID and whatever ownership evidence you have — rego papers are ideal, but we can work around missing documents if you're clearly the owner. The driver brings the transfer paperwork and the cash.
It's bogged behind the house. Can you still get it?
Almost certainly. Our trucks carry winches, ramps, and skates for exactly these jobs — vehicles on blocks, buried in long grass, or wedged in a single garage. Genuine worst-case access, we'll assess it on the phone first so there are no surprises.
